Set in a wild and desolate cirque, perhaps one of the most inspirational amphitheatres in Snowdonia, the main buttress of Craig Dafydd can be found. The high altitude and northerly aspect may also be advantageous, especially when other low-lying crags will not suffice. Specifically, Craig Dafydd consists of short, steep buttresses, with some of the buttresses being split by terraces.
